Official: Daily transit of Russian gas via Ukraine rises by 10%
KIEV, Jul 11 (PRIME) -- The daily transit of Russian natural gas to Europe through Ukraine increased by 10% to more than 270 million cubic meters, Maxim Belyavsky, an adviser to Ukraine’s energy and coal industry minister, said on Wednesday on his Facebook page.
“According to the latest data, daily transit to Europe through the Ukrainian gas transportation system grew by 10% to more than 270 million cubic meters as of today’s morning. One of the probable reasons for the rise in demand for gas pumping is an increase of regimes of its pumping into European gas storages,” he said.
